Today, I messed up.
I got excited about a possible project and got ahead of myself and the proper order of procedures. This misstep may cost me hundreds of dollars. Normally, a client makes a request, then we provide a design/estimate. Once the estimate is approved, we require a deposit to order materials and schedule the job. Finally, the job is put into production and completed. I bypassed the second step: the approval of the estimate.
Now, there's 2 boxes of special-order vinyl being overnighted from a warehouse in Illinois with no project to use it on...
Life goes on.
Business must move forward.
This is one project out of dozens that are awaiting my estimates and designs. It's time to focus on those that are keeping me going. The core that keeps the lights on and food on the tables of multiple employees.
Tomorrow is a new day that I'm going to win!
